Shubhda is rooted in a long-held belief in the power of Ayurveda for skin and hair. The story begins in childhood visits to a Nani's home in Vikasnagar, Uttarakhand. The neighbour — a renowned Ayurvedic physician, Vaidya Vasudev Sharma ji — would prepare traditional ubtans and herbal oils enriched with potent Kumkumadi ingredients (Manjishtha, Lodhra) for the family.
In those days such formulations were rare, available only through deeply knowledgeable Vaidyas. Their impact was remarkable — skin naturally glowed, nourished by the purity of these time-tested herbs. That early exposure shaped everything that followed.

A belief, written into every batch
That curiosity led to a formal study of Ayurveda, yoga and cosmetic formulation, paired with an academic background in organic chemistry. The combination offers a scientific understanding of the powerful alkaloids and antioxidants present in Ayurvedic herbs — and how they truly work on skin and hair.
Over the years, herbal oils made using authentic Ayurvedic methods passed quietly through family and close friends. The results were visible — and the trust they earned, alongside the passion behind them, became Shubhda Ayurveda.
